2. GUNDAM BASE Limited Edition
There are limited items available at GANDAM BASE stores or online.
RG 1/144 SAZABI
RG SAZABI has many divided panels and a lot of frame exposure. This model is a great completeness without any modifications. So I set the following goals:

At first, I thin the black metallic paint. And I painted the thin paint and wipe off the paint before it dries. Inking to grooves had be done at the same time!

I painted the frame silver with a brush.
I painted the yellow part gold.
Here are the paints I used.
This paint has a realistic gloss after polishing, and even when applied with a brush, it does not show unevenness and gives a beautiful finish.
Add metal mono eye
The monoeye is changed to a metal part to make it more realistic. I cut off the mounting protrusion of the mono-eye from the kit and glue a metal mono-eye on the spot. Easy work !

After completion
In a short time, I was satisfied with the realistic impression.
Shops in Tokyo with a large selection of Gundam model kits are Gundam Base Tokyo and several model shops in Akihabara.

amiami always has some Gundam model kits on sale.
This store is located on the 4th floor of Radio Kaikan. And the store is about a 1 minute walk from JR Akihabara Station. Yellow Submarine and VOLKS are located on the same building.

Yellow Submarine is a big and unique model store. Yellow Submarine always has some Gundam model kits on sale.
This store is located on the 6th floor of Radio Kaikan. And the store is about a 1 minute walk from JR Akihabara Station. Yellow Submarine and amiami are located on the same building.

VOLKS is a big model stores. There are many model kits and tools for model kits on sale. And VOLKS always has some Gundam model kits on sale.

Gundam Base Tokyo and Akihabara are close to each other and can be reached in about 30 minutes by train. Next to the building where Gundam Base Tokyo is, there is also Life-sized Unicorn Gundam.
I sometimes go to Gundam Base Tokyo in the morning to see the Gundam model kits and Life-sized Unicorn Gundam, then go to Akihabara in the afternoon to see Gundam plastic model kits. I spend the whole day looking for Gundam plastic models. A very enjoyable experience. Recommended for those who like Gundam plastic models.
