BEFORE
AFTER

The Theme of Building

Make realistic zaku without full painting !

Add Line engraving

In terms of current manufacturing technology , a part may not be so large. Therefore, I add dividing lines in some large panels.

Add Small parts

Small parts is added  to show complexity. Small parts was off-the-shelf products.

*Small parts I used

KOTOBUKIYA M.S.G P124R

Add washes to Molding color and top coat

At first, I thin the black metallic paint.  And I painted the thin paint and wipe off the paint before it dries.  Inking to grooves had be done at the same time!

*Top coat I used

PREMIUM TOP COAT ‘FLAT’

Partial painting

Vernier thruster was painted in silver.

Water slide decal

I pasted the water slide decals sold separately. Because the edge of water slide decal is Inconspicuous.

*The decal I used

HIQPARTS RB CAUTION DECAL 01 ONE COLOR White

Add metal mono eye

The monoeye  is changed to a metal part to make it more realistic.

Since the metal monoeye are thick, I removed the mono eye shield and glued the metal monoeye to the axis. I think it turned out cool with a simple work.

Before
Mono eye shield is removed, and metal mono eye is glued to the axis directly
After

Here are the metal mono eye and lens that I used.
